GEN-4 & GEN-5 ULTRASPAN

Ultraspan is a state-of-the-art nylon fabric laminated to neoprene.

Gen-4 Ultraspan provides 300% stretch, while Gen-5 Ultraspan offers 350% stretch.

THERMAL MESH SKIN

Thermal Mesh works in much the same way as a solar panel, absorbing heat from the sun. Its minimal water absorption helps reduce wind chill. Together, these features give West wetsuits enhanced thermal insulation.

S-FOAM OR SUPERLITE NEOPRENE

S-Foam is a closed-cell neoprene foam made from limestone. It is 20% lighter than conventional foam and offers greater elasticity than other types of neoprene.

Compared with other types of neoprene, K-Foam (Knee Foam) has a much higher-performance density. West uses K-Foam for all knee pads because of its durability and high resistance to wear.
